The Linda Lindas Release New Song “Blood on Our Hands” Ahead of Gotta Get Out

The Linda Lindas have premiered a new song, “Blood on Our Hands,” from their upcoming album, Gotta Get Out.

Bassist Eloise Wong says the song reflects on responding to difficult times through everyday choices and considering where people direct their support and spending.

“We’re living in very dark times, and it’s really easy to feel hopeless,” Wong says. She explains that “Blood on Our Hands” is about doing what you can beyond national boycott days and marches, while thinking about where your money goes and doing your best to support others.

Gotta Get Out is due out Aug. 28 and follows The Linda Lindas’ 2024 album, No Obligation. The upcoming record also features the previously released “Burning Out” and “Closer,” a collaboration with Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

The Linda Lindas will launch a U.S. tour in September.
