Sugar Announces Changes: The Story of Sugar Documentary Ahead of Reunion Tour

The reunited Sugar has announced a new mini-documentary celebrating the band's history and return to the stage.

The 20-minute film, Changes: The Story of Sugar, is set to premiere Aug. 6 at noon ET on the band's YouTube channel. The documentary follows Sugar from its early practice sessions in the 1990s through its comeback shows in May at New York City's Webster Hall, which marked the band's first live performances in more than 30 years.

"I tend to be identified most with Hüsker Dü and my solo albums, but few know the half of how much fun I had with Sugar," frontman Bob Mould says.

Sugar's reunion tour resumes Aug. 11 in Denver. Since reuniting, the band has also released three new songs: "House of Dead Memories," "Long Live Love" and "Keep Looping."
