Evanescence has earned its second No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with its current single, "Who Will You Follow."

The achievement comes less than a year after the band's first chart-topper, "Afterlife," reached No. 1 in 2025 following a wait of more than two decades for the milestone.

"Who Will You Follow" appears on Evanescence's new album, Sanctuary, which is available now.

Speaking about the song, frontwoman Amy Lee said its message centers on finding truth in an increasingly confusing world.

"When you can't even tell what's real, what's true, who will you follow?" Lee said. She described the song as a reflection on the challenges of separating truth from misinformation and the dangers that can be created.

Lee added that the themes explored in "Who Will You Follow" are present throughout Sanctuary, which she described as a place where people can connect honestly and communicate directly with one another.

According to Lee, the song ultimately points back to the importance of human connection and breaking through division to find common ground.

Sanctuary is out now, and Evanescence is currently supporting the album on tour.
