Former Nirvana drummer and Melvins member Dale Crover has released a cover of the Neil Young song "Harvest Moon," bringing a connection that began more than 30 years ago full circle.

Crover played a younger version of Neil Young in the original 1992 music video for "Harvest Moon," the title track from Young's album of the same name. According to Crover's label, Joyful Noise Recordings, he also crashed Young's car during the video shoot.

The new version of "Harvest Moon" appears on Crover's upcoming EP, Get Yer Ba-Ba's Out. The track combines Young's classic song with the Melvins song "The Bit."

Crover's cover is available now. Get Yer Ba-Ba's Out is scheduled for release on September 4.
