Small Talk is the fourth and most emotionally resonant album from Chicago duo Whitney. After a decade of collaboration in both Smith Westerns and Whitney, longtime bandmates Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek entered the studio in the summer of 2024 without a producer—just trusted friends dropping in to contribute.

The result is a collection of 11 incandescent songs that showcase everything Whitney does best: tender melodies, wistful lyricism, and a natural warmth that’s been elevated to new heights. Small Talk balances classic Whitney charm with a spirit of creative evolution, making it their most affecting and fully realized release to date.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.  

New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.  

Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition.  Please contact us directly if there is a problem. 

Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
