In 1995, The Roots redefined hip hop with their seminal debut album Do You Want More?!!!??!—a groundbreaking fusion of rap, jazz, and soul that showcased the band’s unmatched live instrumentation. Thirty years later, in March 2025, The Roots honored the milestone with a three-day, six-show residency at the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City, performing the album in full for the first time in decades.

The shows featured rare live renditions of fan favorites alongside appearances from long-time collaborators including Ursula Rucker, Dice Raw, and Rahzel, the Godfather of Noise. To commemorate this moment, The Roots are releasing the complete performance as a Record Store Day Essentials exclusive on Black Friday, November 28, 2025.

The 2xLP set comes in a deluxe gatefold package, pressed on Blue & Black A Side/B Side effect vinyl. Mixed and mastered by ?uestlove with Glen Forrest and Colin Mohnacs, the album faithfully captures the energy, improvisation, and soul of The Roots live on stage.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.  

New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.  

Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition.  Please contact us directly if there is a problem. 

Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
