Little Girl Blue was Nina Simone’s first studio recording and the album that introduced her unmistakable voice and piano style to the world. Recorded in December 1957, the sessions capture Simone at the very beginning of her recording career, blending jazz, blues, and classical influences with striking emotional clarity.

The album includes some of her most enduring performances, notably ‘I Loves You Porgy’ and ‘My Baby Just Cares For Me’, which would later become defining pieces of her legacy. This edition is part of the Jazz Images series, paying tribute to renowned French jazz photographer Jean-Pierre Leloir, whose intimate and respectful photographs accompany the music and document a golden era of jazz history.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.  

New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.  

Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition.  Please contact us directly if there is a problem. 

Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
