Several tracks—reimagined from before Wade’s major-label debut—are given new life here, including the crashing title track “The Party Is Over” and the searing lead single “East Coast.” From the slow burn ache of “High in Your Apartment” to the grunge-laced “Songs I Won’t Remember” and the stormy heartbreak of “Hardwood Floor,” Wade delivers a brutally honest and sonically bold statement.
