Off The Record compiles four brand-new EPs—Techno Logic, PopUp Shop, Hidden Out!, and The People’s Mixtape—produced in Makaya McCraven’s signature organic beat music process: heavy post-production sculpted from live, improvised performances he leads from the drum kit. The sets pull from McCraven’s LA debut in 2015, a 2017 Chicago Hideout residency, and performances in London (2017), Berlin (2024), New York (2025), and Brooklyn (2025), featuring collaborators including Ben LaMar Gay, Theon Cross, Junius Paul, Marquis Hill, Joel Ross, Jeremiah Chiu, Jeff Parker, Justefan, and Benjamin J Shepherd. Releasing October 10, it’s a widescreen portrait of McCraven’s evolving live-to-tape alchemy.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.
New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.
Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition. Please contact us directly if there is a problem.
Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.
Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
