Lord Huron — the acclaimed project of Los Angeles-based songwriter, musician, and visual artist Ben Schneider — returns with their fifth full-length album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, released via Mercury Records. Known for creating “atmospheric music of exquisite craft” (Wall Street Journal), the band teased the album with the early 2025 singles “Who Laughs Last” and “Nothing I Need.”

Written and co-produced by Schneider, the album features core band members Tom Renaud, Mark Barry, and Miguel Briseño, along with a unique group of collaborators, including actress Kristen Stewart and Kazu Makino of Blonde Redhead. The album’s title and cover art reference a mysterious jukebox-like machine — a metaphor for fate and misinterpretation. As Schneider puts it: “What if you could choose your fate like choosing a song on a jukebox? What if your finger slipped and you got the B-side instead?”

Pressed on stunning red swirl vinyl, this 2LP is a cosmic journey through fate, nostalgia, and sonic storytelling.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.  

New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.  

Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition.  Please contact us directly if there is a problem. 

Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
