Cut 4 Me was an incredible body of work and one of the strongest debuts in recent memory, so topping that would be a huge task for even the most confident musician. Kelela breezes through it though, making good on her staggering early potential and suggesting an incredibly bright future ahead. The Hallucinogen EP exists in the interzone of mutable R&B, chart pop, and grime-inflected production, with behind-the-boards work coming from names like Arca, Kingdom, and MA, but more than ever it's Kelela who appears front and centre on the release, with her biggest and most powerful hooks underpinned by next-gen, hyper-sensual studio moves. Upon it's initial release in 2015 the EP, Hallucinogen garnered wide praise from outlets such as The New York Times, Rolling Stone (#12 Best R&B Albums of 2015), Stereogum (Album of the Week) and received Pitchfork's Best New Music. Since the release of the EP Kelela has played a string of festivals around the world, toured with the xx and guested on critically acclaimed albums from Danny Brown (Atrocity Exhibition) and Solange (A Seat at the Table). 2017 will surely see Kelela's star rising higher than it ever has.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 7 days of product delivery.  

New vinyl must be unopened and unplayed, unless there is concealed damage.  

Used vinyl is graded for vinyl and jacket condition.  Please contact us directly if there is a problem. 

Signed vinyl records cannot be returned unless they are damaged or defective.

Sleeves and LP Mailers can be returned within 7 days.
