Tom Morello has announced a new solo album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want, arriving on September 25.

The release marks the fourth full-length album issued under the Rage Against the Machine guitarist's own name and is being described as his first solo rock album.

Morello's previous solo releases—2018's The Atlas Underground and 2021's The Atlas Underground Fire and The Atlas Underground Flood—blended electronic and EDM influences with heavy music while featuring guest vocalists throughout.

The new album also includes special guests, with System of a Down's Serj Tankian appearing on "Adjourn It" and Beartooth featured on "Everything Burns."

Morello has also released a new solo track from the album titled "Date Night." According to a press release, the song tells the true story of three young Dutch women—Truus Oversteegen, Freddie Oversteegen, and Hannie Schaft—who served as spies, saboteurs, and assassins against the Nazis during World War II. The release states that the women used their youth and appearance to pass checkpoints, smuggle weapons, sabotage rail lines, help Jewish children escape persecution, and carry out assassinations of Nazi officers.

Discussing the song, Morello said, "I make anti-racist songs for anti-racists. I make anti-fascist songs for anti-fascists. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis. 'Date Night' is really a 'which side are you on?' song. If any of that offends you, do the math."

Following the album's release, Morello will host his Power to the People Festival on October 3 in Columbia, Maryland.
