Van Halen fans are getting a rare reunion of two original band members during the upcoming TEDxFargo conference in Fargo, North Dakota.
Drummer Alex Van Halen was previously announced for a virtual conversation with artist Alex Vargas, and organizers have now revealed that original Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth will also take part in the discussion.
The event's announcement describes it as, "Three icons. One stage. One conversation you won't want to miss."
According to Vargas, the conversation will be conducted remotely but live, with all three participants together in the same room.
Fans who aren't attending TEDxFargo won't miss out entirely. Organizers say the full conversation will be uploaded to YouTube a few weeks after the event, where it will be available for everyone to watch.
Vargas is known for creating the 17-foot-tall mural of Eddie Van Halen on the exterior of the Guitar Center in Hollywood, California.
The announcement comes shortly after David Lee Roth canceled all but one of the remaining dates on his summer tour. He is still scheduled to perform at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, on August 7.
