Rush Announces New Vinyl Releases for The Spirit of Radio and 2112

Rush has announced two new vinyl releases arriving Oct. 2, including the first-ever vinyl edition of the band's The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974–1987 compilation.
Originally released in 2003, The Spirit of Radio: Greatest Hits 1974–1987 will be available on vinyl in two different versions. A two-LP edition will feature all 16 tracks from the original collection, while an abbreviated one-LP edition will include 10 tracks.
Rush will also release a 50th anniversary vinyl edition of the band's 1976 album 2112 on Oct. 2. The LP is pressed on black liquid vinyl.
That edition of 2112 was previously exclusive to the UMusic Shop in New York City during Rush's recent four-show run at Madison Square Garden as part of the band's Fifty Something comeback tour.
The Fifty Something tour launched in June and marks Rush's first tour since 2015 and the band's first since the 2020 death of drummer Neil Peart. Bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson reformed Rush in 2025 with drummer Anika Nilles.
The Fifty Something tour continues Friday with the first of four shows in Rush's hometown of Toronto. The Toronto performances are set to be filmed.
