Rush's catalog is set to receive its first audiophile upgrade through a new multiyear reissue series from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi).
The project will feature audiophile editions of the band's albums on Super Audio CD, marking the first time Rush's catalog has been released in the format. Select titles will also be available on vinyl as either UltraDisc One-Step editions or 45rpm pressings.
The series begins this summer with upgraded editions of 1975's Fly By Night and 1977's A Farewell to Kings. Both releases, along with the band's 1974 self-titled debut arriving this fall, are available for preorder.
An additional eight albums, including 2112 and Moving Pictures, are scheduled for release between 2027 and 2028.
Rush is currently on its Fifty Something tour, the band's first tour in more than 10 years and its first since the death of drummer Neil Peart. The next performance is scheduled for Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas.
