Primus Releases "The Ol' Grizz" Music Video

Primus has released the official music video for "The Ol' Grizz," a track from the band's latest EP, A Handful of Nuggs.

The video combines animation with live performance footage, following the story of an old-time prospector alongside scenes of the band. It was directed by Cage Claypool, the son of Primus frontman Les Claypool.

Released in May, A Handful of Nuggs also features "Little Lord Fentanyl," a collaboration with Maynard James Keenan, a live cover of Dio's "Holy Diver," and a live version of "Duchess (And the Proverbial Mind Spread)."

The EP is the first Primus release to feature drummer John Hoffman, who joined the band in 2025 following the departure of Tim "Herb" Alexander.
