A new piece of Ozzy Osbourne history is heading to public display in Birmingham, England.
The Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery has announced that Ozzy’s black Gothic-style throne will be added to the Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero exhibit beginning July 1.
The throne became one of the most recognizable symbols of Ozzy’s later career. He first debuted it during his 2024 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. It was later used during his solo set and Black Sabbath performance at the Back to the Beginning concert held at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025.
The performance would ultimately become Ozzy’s final concert appearance. The legendary singer died just weeks later on July 22, 2025.
“As we approach the first anniversary of Back to the Beginning, it feels fitting that Ozzy’s throne, which has now become synonymous with his final performance, would be placed in the museum, where it can be seen by the fans who loved him,” Birmingham Museums Trust co-chief executives Sara Wajid and Zak Mensah said in a statement.
The Ozzy Osbourne: Working Class Hero exhibit originally opened on June 25, 2025, to coincide with the Back to the Beginning concert celebrations. Due to strong public interest, the exhibit has been extended and will now remain open through Sept. 27, 2026.
Meanwhile, Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne recently shared an emotional Father’s Day tribute on Instagram reflecting on the loss of her father.
“Dad, I still find myself looking for you in ordinary moments — the advice I need, the joke I want to tell, the victory I wish you could see,” she wrote.
She continued, “The ache of missing you is the price of loving you, and I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all.”
Kelly concluded her message by writing, “I will never stop missing you. It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again.”
