Nine Inch Noize, the newly formed collaborative project between Nine Inch Nails and German-Iraqi electronic producer Boys Noize (Alexander Ridha), has announced their debut self-titled album. The record is catalogued as Halo 38 — continuing the sequential HALO numbering system used throughout Nine Inch Nails' career — and arrives April 17, with pre-saves available now.

The album's existence was first revealed via a billboard along California's I-10 highway ahead of Coachella 2026, before being officially confirmed on social media on April 8.

The collaboration has been building for over a year. Reznor and Boys Noize first connected in 2024 when Boys Noize remixed the Challenger's score that Reznor and Atticus Ross had composed for the film.  From there, Boys Noize contributed additional production to the TRON: Ares soundtrack, including co-production credits on key tracks.

Boys Noize also joined NIN on the UK leg of their Peel It Back tour, performing remixes from a secondary stage positioned in the middle of the audience.  Nine Inch Noize will make their official live debut as a named project at Coachella 2026 this Saturday, April 11.

Details about the album's contents remain unannounced, with speculation ranging from live recordings made during the Peel It Back tour to new studio material or remixes.
