Jimmy Eat World Celebrates Bleed American 25th Anniversary with Hollywood Bowl Show

Fans of Jimmy Eat World's Bleed American will have the chance to hear the iconic album performed live in its entirety during a special anniversary concert this fall.

Jimmy Eat World has announced a joint performance with The Format on Nov. 7 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The concert celebrates the 25th anniversary of Bleed American and the 20th anniversary of The Format's Dog Problems, with both bands performing their landmark albums from start to finish.

Presale tickets become available Thursday at 8 a.m. PT, while tickets go on sale to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. PT. Complete ticket information is available through the official websites of Jimmy Eat World and The Format.

Released in 2001, Bleed American was Jimmy Eat World's fourth studio album and became the band's breakthrough record. The album features some of the group's best-known songs, including "The Middle," "Sweetness," "A Praise Chorus," and the title track.

The Format's Dog Problems was released in 2006 as the duo's second studio album. It became their final release before Nate Ruess and Sam Means went on hiatus. Ruess later formed fun., while The Format reunited in 2025 and released their comeback album, Boycott Heaven, in January 2026.
