Green Day has announced the launch of Green Day TV, a new channel premiering Thursday on the band's YouTube page.

The launch comes just ahead of the premiere of Green Day's upcoming film, NIMRODS, which is scheduled to debut on Aug. 14.

The movie follows three friends—played by Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust—who set out on a road trip after mistakenly believing they have been selected to open for Green Day on New Year's Eve.
