Foo Fighters are making a one-night detour from their own stadium tour to join AC/DC in St. Louis.

Dave Grohl and company will open for AC/DC during the “Back in Black” legends’ Sept. 8 St. Louis show. Foo Fighters will fill in for The Pretty Reckless, who have been supporting AC/DC on their ongoing U.S. run.

According to a press release, Foo Fighters are taking a special one-off break from their Take Cover Global Stadium Tour to fill in for The Pretty Reckless as AC/DC’s special guests for the night.

The St. Louis performance will bring together two generations of major rock acts, with Foo Fighters opening the show before AC/DC takes the stage.

Foo Fighters will then return to their own tour, which continues Saturday in Los Angeles. The trek supports the band’s new album, Your Favorite Toy.
