Dave Mustaine Announces In My Darkest Hour Book Launch Event

Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has announced a special launch event celebrating the release of his upcoming book, In My Darkest Hour.

The event will take place Sept. 8 at the Kaufman Music Center in New York City and will feature a conversation with Mustaine. Tickets to the event include a pre-signed copy of the book.

In My Darkest Hour will also be released Sept. 8. The book recounts Mustaine’s battle with throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2019.

The release marks Mustaine’s third book, following Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir and Rust in Peace: The Inside Story of the Megadeth Masterpiece.

Meanwhile, Megadeth is set to launch a North American tour with Iron Maiden on Aug. 29. The dates are part of Megadeth’s world farewell tour in support of the band’s final, self-titled album.
