Dexter and the Moonrocks are celebrating another major milestone.

The band's viral single “Freakin’ Out” has climbed to #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart. It marks the group's second chart-topper after previously reaching the summit in 2024 with “Sad in Carolina.”

Released in March, “Freakin’ Out” has also become Dexter and the Moonrocks' first song to break onto the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. The track currently sits inside the Top 40.

The band is currently touring across the U.S. and has live dates scheduled through mid-December.
