Tributes continue to pour in for Glen Hansard after the Oscar-winning Irish singer-songwriter died Wednesday in a motorcycle accident in Dublin at the age of 56.

Among those honoring Hansard are Bono and Bruce Springsteen, who both shared heartfelt messages remembering the musician and friend.

Bono, who regularly joined Hansard during the annual Christmas Eve Busk fundraiser in Dublin, reflected on their friendship in an Instagram post alongside a video of the pair performing "Invisible."

"Sometimes I would wonder if Glen Hansard really existed," Bono wrote. "Seriously, he was such an angelic presence… not otherworldly…in fact, very present this presence… A smiling rascal if you needed him to be… this most musical and mischievous archangel of Ballymun… no airs, plenty of graces."

He concluded his tribute by writing, "I'm telling myself this morning that if he never existed, then he can never cease to exist. For me, he will always be everywhere I see a coin spinning into an open guitar case. May you rest in the peace you gave to so many."

Bruce Springsteen also shared a tribute on Instagram.

"Here on E Street, we are heartbroken over the death of Glen Hansard," Springsteen wrote. "We met in Ireland many years ago, and he was always nothing but a great musician, a good friend and a generous and gracious man. Always positive, smiling and ready to sing. God bless him and his loved ones."

Just one day before Hansard's death, his social media accounts shared a video of him performing "Drive All Night" with Springsteen in Ireland. The post noted that Hansard joined Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band on stage in Kilkenny in 2013 for the performance.

Hansard later recorded his own version of "Drive All Night" for his 2013 EP of the same name. The recording featured backing vocals from Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and saxophone by Jake Clemons of The E Street Band.

Additional tributes have also been shared by Ed Sheeran, Finneas, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Rachel Zegler, and The War and Treaty.
