When The Strokes announced their U.S. tour in April, there was one notable omission: no hometown show in New York City. That has now changed.

Julian Casablancas and the band have announced a headlining performance at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York, on Oct. 2. Joining them on the lineup are fellow New York indie favorites TV on the Radio, along with Beach House and Fcukers.

Fans can register now for the presale, which begins June 17 at 10 a.m. ET. General ticket sales start June 18 at 10 a.m. ET.

The Strokes kick off their tour Friday with a performance at Bonnaroo. The run supports their upcoming album, Reality Awaits, which arrives June 26.

Fans attending the tour should note that guitarist Nick Valensi may not appear at every show. The band announced in May that he would be taking a temporary break from touring.
