Sombr has released a new song titled "My Body Isn't Ready," a track the artist says holds deep personal meaning.
In a post on Instagram, Sombr shared that he hopes the song "can mean different things to different people."
"It can be taken as a metaphor. Or it can be taken literally as a description of how I have perceived my own body, for my whole life," he wrote.
Sombr added that he wanted to write about his own struggles so that others facing similar experiences would know they are not alone.
"I wanted to write about my struggle so that other people who may also be struggling know that they are not alone," he wrote. "You are beautiful, and I love you."
The official music video stars Obsession actor Inde Navarrette and Off Campus actor Josh Heuston.
The video follows Sombr as he arrives at a mansion party where he feels out of place. After covering himself in papier-mâché until he resembles a sculpture, he is eventually helped by Navarrette's character, and the two spend the evening together.
Sombr debuted "My Body Isn't Ready" during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night.
