sombr and Lola Young are among the artists invited to join the Recording Academy.

According to a press release, Recording Academy membership provides access to mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities designed to support artists throughout their creative and professional careers. Voting members are also eligible to vote for the Grammy Awards.

"I'm extremely honored to be part of the Recording Academy's 2026 New Member Class. Lola Young also expressed her appreciation for the invitation:
