Noah Kahan Asks Fans to Stop Stealing Road Sign Mentioned in His Song

Noah Kahan is asking fans to respect the community where he grew up after learning that the Alger Brook Road sign in Strafford, Vermont, has been repeatedly stolen.

In a message shared on his Instagram Story, Kahan said he had been informed that the sign had been taken multiple times, creating a problem for local residents and the town.

The road is mentioned in his song "The View Between the Villages," where he sings about passing Alger Brook Road on the way home.

Kahan wrote that he hates the idea that including the road's name in one of his songs has led some people to disrupt the lives of the people who live there.

He also offered to pay for replacement signs and asked the town or its board members to contact him or his mother if needed.

The singer apologized to the community and reminded fans how protective he is of his family's privacy and the place where he grew up, asking people not to disturb the area or its residents.

Kahan is currently on his sold-out The Great Divide world tour. He performed at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on Sunday and is scheduled to play Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Wednesday.
