Myles Smith Cancels Vancouver Show Due to Family Health Emergency

Myles Smith has announced the cancellation of his scheduled Aug. 4 performance in Vancouver, citing a serious family health issue.

In a message shared on Instagram Stories, Smith explained that important family medical appointments are scheduled for the same day as the concert, making it impossible for him to perform.

"Family has to come first, and this wasn't a decision I made lightly," Smith wrote.

He reassured fans that, as things currently stand, the remainder of his tour is expected to continue as scheduled.

Smith also emphasized that he rarely cancels shows. Over the past four years, he has performed approximately 400 concerts and says only four have been canceled, all for reasons outside of his control.

Acknowledging the disappointment from fans, Smith apologized to those who had planned to attend the Vancouver show.

"If you'd booked time off, travelled or spent money to be there, I'd feel the same," he wrote, adding that he wanted to be as transparent as possible while still respecting his family's privacy.

Smith concluded his message by thanking fans for their continued support.

The singer has been touring in support of his debut album, My Mess, My Heart, My Life, while also appearing as an opening act on Ed Sheeran's LOOP Tour.
