Motionless In White has officially pulled back the curtain on their highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled Decades. Scheduled for release on July 17, the record serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Scoring the End of the World.
According to frontman Chris Motionless, fans should prepare for a sonic shift toward the visceral. "Decades is definitely heavier than some of our past albums," he shared in a statement. "Our current world bred more aggressive energy, anger, and resistance."
To anchor the announcement, the band premiered the new single "Playing God." The track delivers on a long-teased "massive" guest appearance, officially revealed to be Slipknot's Corey Taylor.
"I can’t believe how aggressive Corey sounds," says Chris. "[The song is] an observational commentary on toxic internet culture and the people who perpetuate it."
The band is currently on the road supporting Bring Me The Horizon. You can view the full 14-song tracklist, featuring guests like Skylar Grey and Anthony Martinez, below.
