Jack Osbourne has shared a new update on the long-awaited biopic centered around his father, Ozzy Osbourne.
During a livestream on Tuesday, Jack confirmed that development of the film is continuing.
“I can tell you this, we are moving ahead,” Jack said. “I was on calls today about it, the script is, like, right there. We are good, this movie will absolutely happen.”
He also revealed that the project is still several years away from release, estimating that the film likely won’t arrive until 2028.
“But you never know,” he added. “We’re full steam ahead, we’re about to start going out and getting a director attached.”
The Ozzy Osbourne biopic was first announced in 2021 and is expected to focus heavily on Ozzy’s relationship with his wife and longtime manager, Sharon Osbourne.
