Interpol Releases New Song “Iron City” Ahead of Upcoming Album

Interpol has released a new song titled "Iron City," the latest preview from the band's upcoming album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton.

The track opens with the lyric, "Alone in Central Park when/ Nothing seems to happen," referencing the band's hometown of New York City.

This Mirror Weighs a Ton is Interpol's eighth studio album and follows 2022's The Other Side of Make-Believe. The album is scheduled for release on Aug. 28.

"Iron City" is the third song released from the upcoming record, following "See Out Loud" and the title track.

Interpol will begin its U.S. tour on July 31 in Denver.
