Bring Me the Horizon’s Oli Sykes and Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante are set to collaborate on a new song called “If the Sun Burns Out Tonight.”

The track was recorded with producer and EDM artist Grabbitz and will serve as the anthem for the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour, an esports tournament focused on the video game Valorant.

Sykes says he has always been drawn to projects that combine storytelling and music, making the opportunity to work with Valorant developer and publisher Riot Games alongside Grabbitz and LaPlante a natural fit.

LaPlante says Sykes has given her opportunities to perform live with Bring Me the Horizon many times over the years, and the new song will finally debut something they worked on together.

She also praised Grabbitz for creating the song’s atmosphere and tailoring the track to all three of their voices.

“If the Sun Burns Out Tonight” is set to premiere in the fall. A preview of the song is available through the Valorant YouTube channel.

Both Sykes and LaPlante have previously worked on music connected to video games. Bring Me the Horizon recorded “Ludens” for the 2019 game Death Stranding, while LaPlante released the theme for 2XKO in 2025.
