July 1 marks the 182nd day of the year, making it a fitting day for blink-182 fans to celebrate the band.
To mark the occasion, blink-182 is opening a series of pop-up shops. The locations will be open from Wednesday through Friday in Los Angeles and Wednesday through Thursday in both New York City and London.
The pop-up shops will feature exclusive merchandise celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band's 2001 album, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. Additional information is available on blink-182's Instagram.
Blink-182 was founded in 1992 by guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, and drummer Scott Raynor. After releasing two albums, the band replaced Raynor with Travis Barker before achieving mainstream success with 1999's Enema of the State.
The band followed with Take Off Your Pants and Jacket in 2001 and its self-titled 2003 album before breaking up in 2005. Blink-182 reunited in 2009 and released Neighborhoods in 2011 before Tom DeLonge departed the group in 2015.
Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio joined the band, and blink-182 released two additional studio albums before DeLonge returned in 2022. The reunited lineup released ONE MORE TIME... in 2023.
Looking ahead, blink-182 is scheduled to tour Europe in 2027.
