Anthrax is officially returning with new music for the first time in a decade.

The legendary thrash metal band announced a brand-new track titled “It’s for the Kids,” scheduled for release this Friday. Fans can already presave the single ahead of its debut.

In a post shared on Facebook, the band teased the release by writing, “It’s been more than a decade…but we’re back.”

“It’s for the Kids” is expected to serve as the first preview of Anthrax’s upcoming 12th studio album. The new record will follow 2016’s For All Kings, which marked the band’s last full-length studio release.

Later this year, Anthrax will also hit the road for select dates on Iron Maiden’s North American tour beginning in September. Megadeth is also set to appear on the lineup.
